Workshop

I will be teaching a workshop for Professional Photographers of America (PPA) on September 12, 2023!

In this workshop you will learn about basic studio lighting terminology, basic studio lighting gear, an overview of speedlights (off-camera-flash), exposure control for flash, light properties, inverse square law, using light modifiers, how to use hard and soft light, how to set up and position studio light, camera and flash settings, advantages and disadvantages of using flash, using flash indoors and outdoors, and how to create 3-dimensional portraits. If you are looking into improving your portraits and getting new insights to better your skills, this is the workshop for you. We will have a model for demonstration of all the principles but this is not a portfolio building workshop.
