Thank you for taking the time to responding to my model call. I am overwhelmed with the so many emails I received saying “ I am interested”.
I am a Certified Professional Photographer with Professional Photographers of America and a Master Photographer with The Portrait Masters.
I would be delighted to photograph you in my studio located in Colorado Springs. CO.
What does a model call mean?
I have put together some information for you to understand what I am looking for and see if this is something you would be interested in.

What is this model call for?
I love to create new images to share my ideas with others through photography.
I am interested in photographing new poses and doing creative black and white work with a new lighting style. Think Hollywood glamour style. This is not a session for headshots or boudoir but for a black and white project. If I do get the images I am in need and we have time, we may do something extra as well.
How long is this session?
Session will take about 1 hour.
As my gift to you, we will sit down together and you can choose your three favorite images to be edited.
If you wish to purchase anything else, you are welcome, with special price.
Where is the studio?
My studio is located in downtown, Colorado Springs, CO
What do I need to bring to the studio?
In a short answer: Three to five beautiful dresses you never get to wear! and some jewelry that goes with them.
Think like a Hollywood star: what do you think a Hollywood star would wear in a photo session in the 60’s? The idea is to create images that evoke beauty, sophistication - think as fashion and Hollywood as inspiration.
A few suggestions: pencil dresses (fitted dresses), dresses with texture or shine, pearls to match them, a chiffon dress with embroidery, etc. Gowns with velvet, shimmery fitted dresses, long v neck dresses.
Colors that will translate well to the black and white images:
Dark green, peach, light pink, blue navy, black, charcoal gray, burgundy.
Do I need to do my own hair and makeup?
Yes.
COME WITH HAIR AND MAKEUP READY. I strongly recommend to wear fake eyelashes and some curls on your hair, but be open so we can elaborate or accessorize you. I will bring some ideas to build on your outfit as well.
Please, DO NOT WEAR HIGHLIGHTER OR CONTOURING ON YOUR MAKEUP, as it will not translate good in camera.
What is going to happen in this session?
When you arrive we will go over your clothing. I will help you to choose up to THREE OUTFITS that will closely fit the style I need for this model session. I will guide and pose you like I do in any session. My goal is to achieve 3 different looks with the lighting.
Immediately following your your photo session, I will show you your images. We will pick the THREE images that best fit my vision for this session to gift you.
Do you do web galleries?
No. Unfortunately I got taken advantage of in the past because I had weak boundaries. I learned my lesson. Now I show my work right after the session and people purchase what they love. All purchased images are professionally retouched. You can purchase product collections or digital collections.
What if I like more images and I want to purchase them?
If you wish to purchase more, it is entirely up to you. NO OBLIGATION. This is a model call :)
You will have 15% discount if you wish to purchase anything.
If you do wish to purchase anything, keep in mind that the discount will only be given on the day of your session, while you are in the studio.
So how does it work if I want to be a model?
BOOKING FEE
You must show up. Because a lot of people left me waiting for them and did not show up in the past, I now require a $99 fee to book model calls. If you arrive to your session per our scheduled time, I will refund you the $99 following your session, OR if you wish to purchase anything it WILL GO TOWARDS YOUR PURCHASE.
If you do not arrive to the session at the time discussed, or cancel within 7 days of your session the booking fee is non-refundable.
MODEL RELEASE
A model release must be signed. I will send this to you as our agreement on the session. It must be signed before the session.
3 COMPLIMENTARY DIGITAL IMAGES
In exchange for your time in being my model, you get 3 digital images, retouched. Together we will pick the best images.
NO OBLIGATION TO PURCHASE
You have no obligation to purchase anything. If you do wish to do so, you must do it immediately after the session (and you will get a 15% discount).
TAXES WILL BE APPLIED TO ANY PURCHASES
It is a fact. I am a business and I have to charge sales taxes over anything I sell.
